It's a peek, a crack in the armour, and maybe it will expand and eventually break wide open. That's what I hope. And like everyone else before me has mentioned, I love your use of the crash cart analogy. Brilliant!

Part of the problem is that even though Biden has the right idea, he's too old to charge in there with the kind of anger and enthusiasm we need right now. He is a voice of solid reason, though and would be a great cabinet member for a president ready to take on this challenge - to rebuild the American Democracy.

It certainly won't be easy, and there's no guarantee that he will even get a 2nd term, but if he does, his best move would be to resign and let VP Kamala Harris take over. I'll bet she'd make waves in ways he couldn't even begin to imagine.

And it would be earth shattering - a woman as the US president. Smoke on your pipe and put that in! Now that's a crash cart I could really run behind!
