Once again, Umair, you have hit the nail on the head! And I love how you pound it in! I am a retired biologist, with a Ph.D. and I still can't believe that I encounter people who believe that COVID is a conspiracy and doesn't really exist. They claim it's just a version of the flu.

And full disclosure, I just tested negative today after being positive for over 10 days with the RAT available for free here in Canada. Yes, for free! Just walk into any pharmacy and ask for a kit and they give it to you. 5 tests. And I was sick, bedridden for 2 days.

The real problem is there are so many lies out there in Social Media, both BIG lies and little lies that people can basically just choose what they want to believe, evidence be damned.

And the politicization of this pandemic just blows my mind! It's all about telling people what they want to hear, not the truth, not the evidence, not the uncomfortable facts. Because if you tell your constituency that, you won't get re-elected.

And so we're stuck in the conundrum of as you call it, "the forever pandemic". For a variety of baseless reasons.

I'll keep wearing my N95 mask and changing the filter on a regular basis, avoiding crowds, ensuring my physical distance, washing my hands frequently and whatever else I can do. And cheering people on like yourself who have enough of a readership that you can actually make a difference.
